NHCA Bike Rodeo – Cycle Safety for Kids

Come and join us for a cycle safety Bike Rodeo!

NHCA is working with Pedalheads to bring you a cycle safety course (bike rodeo!) for your kids. Make sure your kids are prepared to ride safely in the Hills this summer!

Pedalheads instructors use games, obstacle courses, special equipment, and most importantly, positive encouragement, to help develop children’s skills and confidence on their bikes.

Registration starts May 1st for the sessions, which will take place on Saturday, June 10th at Vivo in the east parking lot:

  • 10:30 AM – 12 PM (noon) for children aged 3-5
  • 1:00 – 2:30 PM for children aged 6-8

Please note: each group is limited to 30 children per session, for safety.

Cost:

  • NHCA members: $10/child
  • Non-members: $35/child

* You must have a family, associate, or business membership to qualify; please purchase your membership before registering to qualify for the discounted rate.

This program is highly subsidized by the NHCA.

You can register online, via this link. If you have not registered for anything in our new system yet, you will need to set up a profile. Please visit our membership page or download our handy step by step guide.

The General Purchase and Refund Polices apply to this program. Please note: Membership purchases are non-refundable.

Refunds:

Refunds, minus a $5.00 handling fee, will be issued for the Bike Rodeo program registration fee, until Friday, June 2nd (the end of registration).

From Saturday, June 3rd, no refunds will be granted, except in the case of:

  • An injury which prevents registrants from taking part; please contact the NHCA Office as soon as possible to report any injury.
  • If the NHCA can successfully transfer your registration to someone on the waitlist, you will be refunded, minus the $5.00 handling fee, only up until 3 PM on Wednesday, June 7th.
