How does it work?
Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) gives an opportunity to non-for-profits like us to receive revenue from gaming activities which could be used towards amazing community programs and projects!
- All volunteers will be supported by a licensed casino advisor who will provide training and oversight.
- You may work 2 shifts over the 2 days but it must be in the same role.
- During your shift you will be given a meal voucher.
Volunteer Roles
- General Manager/ Banker: Responsible for the overall continuity of the casino. In control of the cash and chip inventories. This position is mostly data entry.
- Cashier/Chip Runner: Redeems player’s chips for cash. Delivers chips from the GM/Banker to the game tables as required; will count chips with the gaming floor staff as required. Some data entry is required.
- Count Room: Will sort and use money counting machines to count money. Some data entry required.
- Count Room Supervisor: Oversees and records count room transactions. Some data entry required.
